So finally here are recently added ElecFreaks products!
The Freaduino Uno and Mega 2560 are both Arduino compatible boards based on Arduino Uno Rev3 and Mega 2560 designs. They can be used same as original boards. All shields, programs and IDE are compatible and can be used same here. But there are some visible improvements on the hardware making Freaduino Uno and Mega 2560 more flexible and easier to use.
3.3V/5V switch allows connection of some 3.3V modules (such as XBee) directly to Freaduino Uno and Mega 2560. There are also DC/DC switch mode power supplies on the PCBs allowing your application taking more current from 5V (up to 2A) or 3,3V (up to 800mA) supplies. That means you can connect more LEDs, motors or other "hungry" peripherals directly to the Freaduino boards. The boards power input voltages can be up to 23V.
The Freaduino Due from ElecFreaks is an Arduino compatible board based on Arduino Due design. The Freaduino Due can also be used same as Arduino Due. All shields, programs and IDE for Arduino Due are also usable on Freaduino Due.
The improvement is embedded DC/DC switch mode power supply allowing your application to take more current from 5V (up to 2A) power supply.
The Freaduino Pro 328 5V/16MHz is ElecFreaks enhanced version of SparkFun Arduino Pro Mini. It is 100% compatible with the original. There are added two analog IO - A6, A7, and power input side improved so that USB connection and power supply can be used in the same time.
The Color LCD Joystick Shield is based on Sparkfun design. The modifications and improvements are the backlight is possible to drive by PWM (D10) and buttons were replaced by 4 direction joystick with switch (A0-A4). Described improvements make the shield very easy to operate and more usable with dimmable backlight. The Color LCD Joystick Shield is based on display controller Philips PCF8833 and popular Nokia 6100 LCD Panel.
The RFID/NFC Shield is a Near Field Communication interface for Arduino built around the popular NXP PN532 integrated circuit and SPI communication between Arduino and NFC Shield.
RFID and NFC are short-distance radio technologies allowing identification and communication between devices held close to each other. RFID/NFC traces its roots in RFID technology and is an open platform technology standardized in ECMA-340 and ISO/IEC 18092.
Here are some MiFare Classic keychain fobs Clear Tag, Bracelet Tag and Card Tag. They are often used for electronic locks or people identification but also can be found in other systems where required small and easy to carry tag. The tags contain NXP S50 chip and an antenna, and are passively powered by the reader/writer when placed a couple inches away.
